System Reset

Many common problems can be solved by resetting your system in the proper order. This requires powering down the radio, router and computer and then powering them back up (restarting). What this does is forces your radio to re-associate to our system and re acquire its IP address and then pass this information down to the router and computer.

  1. Turn your computer off.
  2. The Router can usually be reset by unplugging the ac adaptor.
  3. The Radio can be reset by unplugging the power to it or its POE (power over ethernet) adaptor.
  4. Now plug them back in / turn them back on, in this order radio, router, and computer.
  5. Test the system.

If this fails to solve your problem proceed to Testing the Connection.
